How does aurality better serve to create a more robust map of meaning when it derives from the malleability of the vocal?

The aural source material is AM radio from Northern California that I captured live. The radio segment was of a bilingual attorney broadcasting with the aim of reaching migrant laborers who experienced injuries on the job, but who didn’t know where to turn for medical or legal guidance. They likely hadn’t been informed of their wide ranging medical and legal rights under California law. This broadcast served Northern Californian communities.
